     What Does Dancing Like David Mean?

Our name references 2 Samuel 6:14- “David danced before the Lord with all his might.” David was praising God for all he had been through, and for God’s returned favor to him and his people.

Life today is hard, it’s hectic, it’s stressed, but God is in control, and He should be praised for even the little blessings.

 

 

What Is Dancing Like David?

Dancing like David's is a new small business aimed at redeeming a secular event for God’s Glory. We hope to provide a social night out to Christian adults.  We are not just for singles. Make us your “date night”.  The events are focused around music, food, fun, and fellowship.

 

 

Do I Have To Dance?

No. However, there is music and a dance floor if you choose to dance.

 

 

What Kind Of Music Will I Hear?

If it has a Contemporary Christian flavor, more than likely we will play it.  Examples- Toby Mac/Kirk Franklin/Crystal Lewis/Skillet/Selah/Barlow Girl/Vickie Winans/Stacie Orrico/CeeCee Winans/Carmen/Big Daddy Weave/Marvin Sapp/Israel/Supertones/Fred Hammond/Salvador.

 

 

Why Does It Cost $20?

The admission price helps to defray the costs of facilities rental, food, advertising and marketing, DJ, and administrative cost (Dee’s gas).

 

 

         What is “THE LIST” ?

DLD is a party! The List is an RSVP. Also the venues we work with allow for only a certain number of guests (around 300, average); so this is the best way to make sure we stick to this maximum.

 

 

Where Is Dancing Like David Located?

Our events are nomadic and held in community centers throughout Orange County.
